Step into a small river boat, go on a windy lake and try to photograph perching terns with a 500mm lens. That's what I tried during my Wild Wonders mission in the Danube Delta. Soon I realized that coping with the strong pitch of the boat, being continuously moved by the wind and almost never keeping the same angle to the subject represented a good way to test my patience capability.....
