This little cute chamois behind a small ridge after 3+ hours of quite steep hiking was the greatest surprise of the day. Careful approach allowed to come close enough for intimate portraits (do note the tiny horns).

The little one was very much interested in the unelegant movements that a human being can do in knee-deep snow handholding a 4/500mm lens...
