With the first colder mornings in late summer, dragonflies covered by dew drops, resting motionless until the sun reaches them and warms them up, becomes one of my favourite photographic subjects. As usual, a clear graphic composition and a well studied background make the image. Less is more. 

While this image is a rather classic way to look at a dragonfly, there are more options out there.
