Running over the images of the day, I was about to send this one to the recycle bin. After a while I decided to keep that. I liked the metallic look of the water, the symmetric reflection, the eye looking through the primary feathers and of course the gull itself beeing at the edge between water and air.

The classic wing-upstroke image, even if technically better, didn't mov my emotions as this one.
