Traveling light increases creativity. Cruising around some backroads by motorbike means very limited luggage: a camera, a zoom lens and an extension tube. Therefore the photographic strategy in such cases is to focus on a subject and try to exploit the potential of limited gear. Virtually every country road's ditch was decorated by brilliant red poppies: besides the typical images of these simple yet wonderful flowers, I was particularly fascinated by the chromatic combination of red, green and purple visible in some spots. A "double exposure" with a soft focus, adds intimacy and mystery to the picture.
