The sinuous shapes of the natural sandstone arch looked to me as a huge snake in the darkening sky of a late April day. After several exposures of the black silhouette against the crescent moon and Venus, I noticed that something was missing in the picture.

I thought that yellow curves would somehow resemble the snake-like nature of the arch and also revealing its wonderful sandstone color.

My flashlight saved the day.
